Important Information Regarding Your Purchase:

Generally, we take great strides in not taking in any instrument that rates less than excellent.
What we might rate "excellent" another dealer might rate "near mint."
All instruments are set-up and in 100% ready to play condition.
Some instruments may need minor adjustment to suit your personal playing style.
We do not supply new strings.
We test and inspect all instruments prior to shipping.

Please know that the 3-way toggle switches on many Danelectros have a trendency to be slightly noisy
when changing positions. We do not guarantee toggle switches.  Also, some Danelectro models have an issue with
the side banding tape lifting or bubbling. Many of these guitars were delivered directly from the factory to dealers this way.
This is caused by tape shrinkage due to changes in temperature and/or humidity and is strictly an aesthetic issue
which in no way affects the sound or playability of the instrument. We do not guarantee any instrument with loose, raised or bubbled binding tape.

In the event your guitar has raised or bubbled side tape, try taking a blow dryer and heating the tape slightly
being careful not to overheat and melt the tape. With the tape warm, hold it down tightly with your fingers until cool.
If there is enough glue on the tape, it may possibly re-adhere, although this may only be a temporary fix.
If this procedure is not successful, try lifting up the tape and applying a very thin layer of adhesive to the back of the tape.
Hold down tightly with fingers until bonded. Do not use expandable type glues as this may cause bumps under the tape.
A strong hobby glue usually works best. If you feel the need to replace the side banding tape on your guitar

Please understand that you may not return any instrument for raised or bubbled binding tape or problematic switches.
